Urban concert sucked
We attended this show on Sunday night and left at 10:00PM with my wife. As long as she has been touring, we have followed Jo Dee Messina. Her best show so far, we thought, was the Ripcord concert 2 years ago, which we attended along with 7 of her concerts. Her whole music style has changed at the Graffiti U concert to almost a heavy metal style with very heavy base throughout, we found. The light show had to put my sunglasses on, sucked with the use of superbright LED lighting aimed at the audience. She changed few older songs to the point they were almost unrecognizable, which she performed. Over the years, we always marveled at the fact she didn't have a lot of special effects but relied on her talent to put on a great performance. Jo Dee Messina does have exceptional talent and should go back to her roots. Until we hear that she has gotten back to the venues we were used to, we will stay away from future concerts. Upon leaving, the lines of people leaving were just about like they were when we went into the concert. Her very last number before leaving was waited by any other Jo Dee Messina concert goers in the past but not at this horrible concert. Better than this, Jo Dee Messina is!
